GPS-Trace Console in 2024

GPS-Trace Console is the administrative console of the GPS-Trace platform. It is designed for dealers, service providers, and fleet owners/operators who need to provide GPS tracking services to clients or track their own vehicles and assets.

Through GPS-Trace Console, registered users can create client accounts, configure tracking solutions, set up branding, connect payment tools, and automate routine actions through API.

GPS-Trace solutions available through the Console

GPS-Trace Console provides access to GPS-Trace solutions for different tracking scenarios.

  • Forguard is a GPS tracking application for vehicle tracking. It supports real-time location on the map, trip history, status control, notifications, reports, maintenance counters, and remote commands for device configuration.
  • Tags is an asset-tracking application based on BLE technology. BLE stands for Bluetooth Low Energy. Tags allows parameters received from a gateway to be turned into separate trackable assets, such as trailers, cargo, equipment, or other items, without installing dedicated hardware on each item.

Access to Forguard and Tags is provided through registered GPS-Trace Console users.

What you can do in GPS-Trace Console

1. Create and configure client accounts

Create client accounts, add devices, configure units, and prepare the tracking setup before giving access to end users.

2. Set up branding for Forguard

Add your logo, application name, color palette, and branded web address so clients access the tracking service under your company identity.

If you use your own domain, clients can open the tracking service through a branded address, for example: yourapp.yourcompany.com. This setup requires domain configuration on your side.

3. Use Platform API for automation

The Platform API is a technical connection that allows external systems, such as a website, billing tool, or internal system, to exchange data with GPS-Trace Console.

For example, if you sell GPS trackers through your website, the API can create a client account and unit after purchase, so your team does not need to enter this data manually.

  • Company information for potential clients.
  • Contact details for users looking for GPS tracking services.
  • Your local service area.

To appear on the map, add your company information in GPS-Trace Console and enable the map listing option.
