At the beginning of 2026, we are reviewing and summarizing the results of 2025. In this article, we look at how the GPS device landscape on the GPS-Trace platform has changed and developed.
The analysis is based on the number of GPS trackers connected to the GPS-Trace platform as of January 1, 2025 and January 1, 2026. Both absolute growth in connected devices and percentage growth relative to the starting base were taken into account.
Top GPS Tracker Manufacturers of 2025
Let’s start with an overview of the manufacturer distribution on the GPS-Trace platform.
As of January 1, 2026, a total of 253,208 GPS trackers were connected to the platform, distributed among different manufacturers. To better illustrate the manufacturers’ shares, we have prepared the chart below.
Distribution of connected GPS devices by manufacturer (%), 01.01.2026
As in the previous year, Coban, Jimi IoT (Concox), Sinotrack, Teltonika, and Xexun remain the leaders by number of connected devices. At the same time, new players such as WanWay and TKStar have entered the top ten, reflecting ongoing changes in the market.
The same manufacturers remain market leaders as last year, although their shares have slightly shifted. The strongest growth was shown by devices from Jimi IoT (Concox, China), Teltonika (Lithuania), and Sinotrack (Auto Leaders, China).
Coban devices continue to hold the leading position, but their share of connected devices decreased slightly over the year — from 40.4% to 36.5%. One possible reason is the gradual phase-out of 2G networks in some countries, where many Coban devices relied on this communication standard.
The share of Xexun trackers declined from 3.8% to 3.2%.
The share of legacy devices also continues to decrease (from 14.3% to 11.5%).
The absolute growth in connected trackers shows each manufacturer’s contribution to the actual growth of the GPS-Trace platform.
Below is the list of the fastest-growing manufacturers based on the number of GPS devices connected to the platform.
