The DCT Syrus 3G+ is a hardwired vehicle fleet telematics hub by Digital Communications Technologies (DCT), designed for IoT/M2M applications. It features 3G UMTS/HSPA+ penta-band connectivity, an integrated GPS receiver (MTK MT3339, 66 channels), and an IP65 sealed polycarbonate enclosure for water and dust resistance. The device includes a built-in rechargeable 250mA Polymer Li-Ion backup battery, RS232 serial interface, and a 1-Wire bus for iButton driver identification. A 3-axis ±16G digital accelerometer enables motion, shock, and aggressive driving detection. Operating on 8–32VDC vehicle power, it supports up to 100 geofences, OTA configuration, multiple accessory ports, and integrates with DCT's Pegasus Gateway REST API platform.
