SMS commands:
  • APN settings
    APN+password + Space + your local APN

    The tracker will return the message “APN OK”.

  • Initialization
    begin+password

    It will reply “begin ok” and initialize all the settings to default factory settings (default password: 123456）.

  • Uploading time interval
    fix030s***n+password

    Tracker will reply the latitude & longitude continuously at interval of 30 seconds.
    Note: the interval must not less than 20s.

  • IP settings
    adminip+password+Space+IPAddress+Space+Port Number

    The tracker will return the message “adminip OK”.

  • Time Zone
    time+space+zone+password+space+time

    If succeed, It will reply “time OK”.
    For example: to set the 0 time zone (UTC 0) send “time zone123456 0”.

Coban GPS306 is a vehicle OBDII GPS tracker working over GSM/GPRS networks (850/900/1800/1900Mhz) and GPS satellites. The device features mainteanance remind alert, low battery alarm, external power off alarm, GPS blind spot alert, geo-fencing, multi-area management, movement alarm, overspeeding alarm, voice monitor, sleep mode, sleep by time, sleep by shock sensor, GPS drift suppression, and more.
