Astra Telematics AT240 is a highly featured IP67 waterproof vehicle tracking device housed in a compact plastic enclosure with integrated GPS/GSM antennas. Powered by a Cortex M3 ARM processor, it features a Telit GE865 Quad Band GSM/GPRS modem and SiRFStar IV GPS chipset with high sensitivity and anti-jamming capabilities. The device includes Bluetooth Low Energy, integrated CANBus interface for FMS and OBD-II protocol support, RS-232 serial port, and 1-Wire interface for iButton driver identification and temperature sensors. It operates from 7-36V DC power with an internal backup battery (450-510mAh) providing up to 5 hours continuous operation. The AT240 offers multiple digital and analog I/O, accelerometer for driving behavior monitoring, and comprehensive fleet management features including geo-fencing and immobilization control.
