Console update: Chat

In April, GPS-Trace Console received several updates, including multiuser access, an onboarding guide, six additional interface languages, and the new Chat section.

GPS-Trace continues to develop tools for service providers, dealers, and operators who use the platform console to work with clients, configure tracking applications, and process support requests.

One of the updates in GPS-Trace Console is the Chat section. It allows Console users to contact the GPS-Trace support team or ask the AI assistant common questions.

In Chat, you can:

  • send a request to the GPS-Trace support team and receive a response during working hours;
  • ask the AI assistant a general question and receive an immediate response in your preferred language.

The AI assistant can help with common questions about GPS-Trace Console settings, user access, device configuration, and activation issues.

This option may be useful for dealers and service providers who work with clients in different languages and need quick answers to standard setup questions.

Here is how to use Chat in GPS-Trace Console:

1. Log in to your GPS-Trace Console account and open Chat in the menu.

2. Start a new chat.

3. Choose whether you want to contact the support team or ask the AI assistant.

4. If you select the AI assistant, enter your question in your preferred language.

Please note that the AI assistant has access to user accounts, units, plans or other information in GPS-Trace Console. It can also help with general setup and configuration questions, such as how to create or configure a unit, work with user access, or resolve issues with an activation link.

Tip: To receive a more relevant answer, describe what you want to do, what has already been configured, and what result you expect.

Example question from a dealer: “I have provided all the required information and signed the contract after the Forguard trial, but I cannot create new accounts. Why?”

The AI assistant can explain the possible reason and suggest the next step.

AI assistant responses are reviewed by the GPS-Trace support team. However, for account-specific questions or cases that require checking private data, contact the support team through Chat or by email.

To use this option, log in to GPS-Trace Console and open the Chat section. You can contact the support team during working hours or ask the AI assistant general setup questions in your preferred language.
